Biography
Ehizuelen Imafidon is an environmental-engineering specialist working across water and wastewater treatment, phosphorus removal, treatment chemistry and process optimisation. He holds a PhD in Water and Wastewater Engineering from Cranfield University and an MSc in Environmental Engineering.
His research has particular expertise in chemical phosphorus removal and coagulation, examining how coagulant selection, water chemistry and operating conditions influence treatment performance. His doctoral research investigated phosphorus removal from municipal wastewater, systematically evaluating coagulant performance and the effects of pH, dosing strategy, phosphorus characteristics and floc formation. The work combined laboratory investigation with practical treatment considerations and involved collaboration with UK water utility organisations.
Ehizuelen's broader expertise centres on applying environmental-engineering evidence to real-world water and wastewater challenges. His work examines how treatment chemistry, process design and operational choices can be optimised to improve treatment performance, resource efficiency and compliance with increasingly demanding water-quality requirements.
